APRI 3rd Quarterly Meeting 2025: Action Plan and Strategic Steps for Blue Swimming Crab Fisheries under the MMPA Policy Framework

Jakarta, September 12, 2025 — The Indonesian Blue Swimming Crab Processors Association (APRI) held its Quarterly Meeting, which coincided with an official audience with the Director General of Strengthening Competitiveness for Marine and Fisheries Products (PDSKP) and his staff at the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP).

During the event, 21 APRI member companies, representing 41 blue swimming crab processing units across Indonesia, officially signed a commitment to strengthening sustainable and traceable crab fisheries.

The meeting served as a platform for discussion among industry members, government officials, experts, and stakeholders, addressing ongoing developments in Indonesia’s blue swimming crab sector. Through this forum, APRI continues to facilitate collaboration, knowledge sharing, and alignment of actions to ensure responsible and competitive fisheries that comply with both national and international sustainability standards.
