APRI Attends the Strengthening of Fishermen in the Management of Sustainable Blue Swimming Crab Fisheries in Betahwalang, Demak, November 28, 2018

Diponegoro University collaborates with APRI and SFP to carry out crab fisheries management activities in Betahwalang Village, Demak. This activity has been going on for approximately 12 months and it is necessary to continue monitoring and evaluation of all ongoing programs. This then made Diponegoro University take the initiative to hold a meeting to strengthen the crab fishing community. The meeting was held on November 28, 2018 in the Betahwalang Village Hall Hall, Demak. This activity has several objectives, namely reviewing the activities that have been carried out, discussing learning from the activities that have already taken place, and discussing the renewal of crab management activities in Betahwalang, Demak.

The material presented in this activity was in the form of a presentation on the results of the crab management activities in Betahwalang by Ir. Sri Redjeki, M. Si., And there was also a presentation on the management of crab fishery repair by the Secretary of APRI, Mr. Bambang A. Nugraha. Then, there is also a discussion that closes with discussion and follow-up.

In addition to APRI, these activities included the Head of the DKP of Demak Regency, Head of LP2RL, APRI members in Central Java, SFP, fishermen, collectors, and miniplants.
