by adminapri December 24, 2025 0 commentsDecember 19th, 2025 – PT Prima Cakrawala Abadi (PCA) distributed environmentally friendly crab pots (bubu) to fishermen in Losari–Brebes, Central Java, as part of its commitment to supporting marine mammal-safe fishing practices under the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA) policy.
Through this initiative, PCA Group encourages the transition from fishing gear with higher risks of marine mammal interaction to selective and responsible fishing gear, helping reduce bycatch while strengthening the sustainability of blue swimming crab fisheries. The crab pot distribution also supports fishermen in aligning with international fisheries management and export compliance standards.
