APRI Conducts Discussion on the Implementation of Electronic Fishing Vessel Books (E-BKP) in Cirebon
by adminapri October 6, 2025 0 commentsCirebon, October 2, 2025 — The Indonesian Blue Swimming Crab Processors Association (APRI), represented by its Advisor Ir. Bambang Arif Nugraha, MBA, held a discussion to support the issuance of Electronic Fishing Vessel Books (E-BKP) through a dedicated outreach outlet at Kejawan Nusantara Fishing Port (PPN), Cirebon.
This initiative reflects APRI’s ongoing commitment to improving data accuracy, vessel traceability, and compliance within Indonesia’s crab fishery sector. The transition to the electronic system (E-BKP) aims to streamline the documentation process for small-scale fishers while strengthening governance in the capture fishery supply chain.
Through collaboration with Kejawan PPN, the outreach outlet will serve as a facilitation hub for fishermen to obtain their E-BKP more efficiently. The activity also aligns with APRI’s broader efforts to ensure sustainable and traceable blue swimming crab (Portunus pelagicus) fisheries that meet both domestic regulatory standards and international market requirements.
APRI continues to work closely with government institutions, port authorities, and local fishing communities to support digitalization initiatives in Indonesia’s fisheries management system — paving the way for a more transparent and sustainable industry.
