Besides being able to make the crabs grow and release their eggs, the existence of this crab apartment can make fishermen feel no loss when returning small crabs to the crab apartment. Crab apartments can be built in the lowest tide area of ​​a waters. This is so that fishermen can easily carry out surveillance and the tidal area usually becomes the nursery ground of the crab, especially with the mangrove ecosystem. This crab apartement can be support based on Permen KP No. 17 Tahun 2021 related that female crabs lay eggs outside and crabs with a size of less than 10 cm do not allowed to be arrested and must be back to nature.

This activity, which is carried out in mutual cooperation, begins with preparing bamboo as the foundation for the crab apartment and then under it to the sea to be installed, the selection of the location of the crab apartment must also pay attention to ocean currents so that the crab apartment can be effective.
