Artati Widiarti, M.A. Continuing deeper into the material previously presented with the topic Strengthening the Competitiveness of Crab-Crab Products in the global market, in this material, the crab fishery commodity in the global market and the role of the government in an effort to encourage the competitiveness of crab fishery products in the global market and in collaboration with all parties involved through various document requirements, related to sustainability and traceability at the end of the presentation of material Ed Rhodes (NFI Crab Council) and Phillips (NFI Crab Council) had the opportunity to give their opinion regarding the conditions of crab in terms of customers, here the NFI Crab Council argues that it is very important related to sustainability documents for the competitiveness of a product because the market will assess the sustainability and prove that Indonesian crab meat is also caught in an environmentally friendly manner, one of the Control Document Audit System data. In the discussion session, the participants provided excellent input regarding fisheries sustainability starting from the discussion on crab cultivation and the most interesting thing was about the Control Document Audit System (CDAS) to support traceability from downstream to the final supply chain. Phillips also said that almost 50% of crab meat in America comes from Indonesia, but if it does not have documents related to sustainability, America will not accept the product, which means that the global market for crabs is disappearing.
