APRI Participated in Indonesia Fisheries & Aquaculture Trade Show & Forum 2017

APRI Participated in Indonesia Fisheries & Aquaculture Trade Show & Forum 2017. This event was organized by Sustainable Fisheries Partnership (SFP) in cooperation with Indonesia Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (MMAF). The Indonesia Fisheries and Aquaculture Forum held on November 14-15, 2017 at the MMAF 3 Hall in Jakarta Indonesia. Several organization from Indonesian Goverment, NGO, Stakeholders, seafood industry was attended this activities include APRI Board represented by Kuncoro Catur Nugroho (APRI Chairman), Bambang Arif Nugraha (APRI Secretary), Miftahul Khair (APRI Admin) and several APRI Members also join in this event.

The event was opened by Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries represented by Ir. Nilanto Perbowo, M.Sc.  The Forum provides a venue for like-minded seafood industry professionals to share challenges, celebrate successes, and to learn more about fisheries and aquaculture issues in a pre-competitive environment alongside government and other NGOs. Other topics on the agenda include challenges and opportunities with the management of highly migratory species, aquaculture in Indonesia, and the ever-growing community of FIP and AIP implementors and purveyors. Other than that alaso talked about the current policies and practices in Indonesia Fisheries.

In the afternoon session, Kuncoro Catur Nugrohoas APRI Chairman gives a presentation about APRI FIP Program. In addition APRI also show up in the booth provided at the event. Several publication about APRI FIP Program was displayed in the booth. Ir. Nilanto Perbowo and Jimm Cannon (CEO SFP) was visit APRI Booth and APRI Chairman also explain about APRI activity was done and future progran to support Indonesia Fisheries.
