APRI Quarterly Meeting 2, Yogyakarta 5 August 2017

Indonesian Blue Swimming Crab Association (APRI) was held 2nd Quarterly Meeting 2017 in Yogyakarta on 5 August 2017. APRI boards such as Kuncoro Catur Nugroho (APRI’s Chairman), Dr. Hawis Madduppa (APRI’s Excecutive Director), Wita Setioko (APRI’s Treasurer) and Bambang Arif Nugraha (APRI’s Secretary) was attended this meeting, and 16 APRI members was recorded also attend the meeting. Moreover APRI also invited speaker such as Prof. Indra Jaya (KOMNASKAJISKAN), Ir. Sitti Chadidjah (BKIPM Makassar), and from NGO like Abdul Ghofar (NFI Crab Council).

This event has a theme that is “Compliance Against Government Regulation on Blue Swimming Crab Fisheries in Indonesia towards Sustainable Industry”. This activity is expected to maintain the continuity business of pasteurized BSC Meat environmentally friendly and also to improve the sustainability program for BSC Industry. Dr. Hawis Madduppa give the presentation about newest development report from Fisheries Improvement Project (FIP) and APRI Program in the future, Prof. Indra Jaya present about BSC Stock and the Relation to Season Condition, and Ir. Sitti Chadidjah present about Compliance Against Government Regulations About BSC Fishing. At the end of this event, also held the handover of enumeration equipment from Sustainable Fisheries Partnership (SFP) represented by Tita Nopitawati to APRI represented by APRI Chairman, Kuncoro Catur Nugroho.
