FGD to Strengthening the Fisheries Management Area Institutions, Lamongan, June 13, 2019

APRI participated in Focus Group Discussion related to the implementation of the Fisheries Management Area Institutional Strengthening Policy Analysis Research Activity, June 13, 2019 at the Brondong Nusantara Fisheries Port Meeting Room, Lamongan. This activity includes discussions on various aspects of marine affairs and fisheries  ranging from socio-economic, environmental, to institutional aspects itself to strengthen the fisheries management area institutions. The participants inlcudes the representative of the Agency of Marine Affairs and Fisheries of East Java Province, Executive Coordinator of FMA 712, Workgroup Secretariat of FMA 712, every Head of Workgroup in FMA 712, Head of HNSI of East Java Province, Prof. Abdul Ghofar from Diponegoro University, supplier and miniplant from Paciran and Blimbing.

This focus group discussion, not only discuss the blue swimming crab fisheries, but all of the fisheries in FMA 712, include the snapper fisheries. Every participants give the input and share the information from their respective fields. All of the information was compiled to coordinated and collaborated for strengthening the fisheries management area institutions.
