Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries to make Lampung as a pilot project for blue swimming crab management in Indonesia. The event was centered in the village of Tani House Sukadana Ilir, District Sukadana, Friday, 07/22/2016, was attended by the head of the Department of Marine and Fisheries East Lampung Usman Effendi, Secretary of the Department, Azwarodi, as well as resource persons from the Directorate General of Capture Fisheries represented by the Directorate Kasubit Fish Resources management, Besweni.
Usman Efendi said this activity aims to improve fisheries resource crab crab for farmers in the region of East Lampung. Lampung is one important location for APRI, so that the existence of this pilot project will help in raising awareness of the importance of sustainability crab fishery.
