Together with the Pasuruan Fisheries Government, APRI attended a fishermen’s meeting in Pasuruan

August 29, 2023, APRI also attended an activity initiated by the local government, namely the Pasuruan Fisheries Bureau Service on the agenda of the crab fishermen meeting in Semedusari village, Pasuruan, East Java. The head of the capture fisheries bureau, Mr. Ahmad Sholah accompanied by staff explained the profile of fishermen in Semudasari Pasuruan village to socialize sustainable fisheries with environmentally friendly fishing gear, and APRI also participated in conveying several programs for sustainability for fishermen so they know the importance of preserving nature in welfare fishermen in Pasuruan.

This socialization also provided posters for regulations for environmentally friendly fishing gear, and APRI also greatly appreciated the activities carried out by the Pasuruan Fisheries Service, apart from collecting data their focus also supports fishermen who stick to environmentally friendly.
