Blue swimming crab management done in various area in Indonesia, include West Java Province. West Java Province has several area which are have blue swimming crab resources. Co-management program in the management of blue swimming crab in West Java Province has entered the initial stages and several steps has been passed. On June 24, 2019, as a follow-up of the co-management program, APRI, Agency of Marine Affairs and Fisheries of West Java Province, Environmental Defense Fund, Starling Resources, and supported by Padjajaran University prepared a site scoping for the management of the blue swimming crab fisheries in West Java Province. With the site scoping, the management of blue swimming crab will be focused and its success will be transmitted to other area.
